Summertime in New England = waterfront seafood restaurants.
Over the weekend I actually received two emails from you guys, asking about restaurants I would recommend on the water, specifically in Mystic. Sooooooo I figured a list of waterfront restaurants was completely worth a post.

Okay to be honest, I LOVE seafood. It’s my all time favorite summer food, and sadly Mr. Matt & the rest of my family aren’t 100% on the seafood bandwagon.
But who cares about the seafood haters; I love everything about seafood restaurants in New England, from the nautical ambiance to the delicious food, it’s basically my favorite place to be on a Friday night.
I just throw on a casual dress, drive down to the water & order a half dozen oysters with extra cocktail sauce. Perfection.
One of the things I missed most about New England, when I was living in California, was in fact the seafood restaurants. If you honestly hate seafood, at least go for the ambiance. The ambiance alone will make the experience for you, trust me.
