Okay let’s talk yummy food with a view & summer storm attire!
Today it decided to pour, which was a surprise to my family & I!
We intended on enjoying a day on the boat but with thunderstorms rolling in, we opted for a drive & some good food instead.
Since I loved Mystic CT so much last week, we decided to try out a new restaurant that opened up down in the marina! & it was sooooo good.
Dinner with a view is the perfect way to describe The R36 Restaurant, the dinner is below & the view is above!
Matt devoured that whole chicken & let me tell you it smelled amazing (he deff made the best food choice) & I ate those mussels in a hot min!
I am a little seafood obsessed & it’s prime seafood time in New England (so I am a happy camper)!
One of the best parts of summer is that you get to eat outside…I always feel like eating outside is healthier than eating inside (which makes no sense). Yet whenever I eat outside I feel more relaxed & get to people watch the heck out of dinner (which I love doing)!
Yet a downside to New England is that even during the summers eating outside could be CHILLY!
So when in doubt dress for the heat & the after dusk weather.
SHIRT// WILDFOX. SHORTS// J.CREW FACTORY. NECKLACE// J.CREW FACTORY. PURSE// REBECCA MINKOFF. SHOES// JACK ROGERS. TOE POLISH// OPI COCA COLA RED
Wearing a light Wildfox sweater allowed me to stay warm while not overheating! I paired that with J.Crew shorts & popped it with a statement necklace!
This outfit is always an easy go to for me whenever I am by a shoreline! The weather at the shoreline is always unpredictable & somehow I always end up cold, so this outfit was perf!
Now that I am overfull from dinner I am off to bed & tomorrow I am on the road AGAIN!
Guess where to!
