Nothing says fall like Pumpkin Patches & Quilted Vests, am I right?

On Saturday Matt and I headed to the Dallas Arboretum to check out their pumpkin exhibit. Oh boy, just imagine piles and piles of pumpkins, the atmosphere was amazing; children were jumping into buckets of pumpkins, and so many fall photo sessions were in full motion. 

I (as always) dress for the occasion and not for the weather (silly me) so I was sporting this quilted vest, my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans & the perfect white button-down shirt, in 90 degree weather (ouchhhhh). 

I might have been a tad hot, but the outfit was perfect for a classic New England pumpkin picking session. If you’re a New England gal then I would recommend investing in a quilted vest, it’s an autumn essential.

The one I’m wearing is from C&S Clothing Co. & it’s only $38, and it basically goes with anything. In high school I always wore my quilted vest to Matt’s football games, it’s literally a staple that never goes out of style. 

So after two hours of pumpkin picking & literally drinking four water bottles, Matt & I headed home, but before leaving, I became a member at the Dallas Arboretum. We’re hoping to go back often & shoot for the blog there; the whole venue was beautiful & I hope to showcase it often! 

Gardens & Arboretums have always been my favorite places to shoot. This weekend was especially fun because the arboretum brought a New England Fall to Dallas. I hope you all had the best weekend. xx A.
