Recently Matt & I have been, well, hustling. Matt’s been working extra shifts, in order to save up vacation time for some exciting 2017 travels, while I’ve been over extending myself in all realms TCC.

We both have been working non-stop and around the clock, including weekends which is when we shoot content for the TCC. I’m a BIG fan of the hustle, yet I often find myself feeling unsatisfied and overlooking our current successes, as I look too far ahead. 

I always say, I’m a big picture person. I’m constantly planning what’s next for the TCC brand and having a ‘game plan’ is the only way I can accurate accomplish that big picture. So while I’m spending all this time planning, thinking and making slideshows on what we need to accomplish, we miss out on the now. Can anyone else relate? 

The thing is, there is soooo many exciting things happen with the brand, store and crew, that I forget to take each day as they come. I need to admire this time in Matt & my life, a time filled with endless emails, extremely tiny budgets (aka living in your twenties) and living in Dallas! We know our time in Dallas is limited, so we aim to focus our energy on exploring our new home, meeting new friends, and going on endless Texan adventures. 

Sometimes we feel overwhelemed & sometimes we are literally a hot mess; but we are learning to ‘be in the now’. Tis the season to embrace the now and look at all the changes 2016 as bought, like how the heck did Matt & I end up in Dallas!!! We are still shocked but enjoying the ‘now’ with a yee-haw.
