Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and if you’re looking for a youthful way to celebrate – something beyond the standard box of chocolates, this Valentine’s Day, then you’re in luck. Our crew has pulled together a long list of breweries in New England you’ll want to check out, on your next date. Breweries have been popping up left and right in New England and while fancy dinners, gifts, and flowers are always a treat – Matt and I decided to put a casual spin on Valentine’s Day this year to get outside of our mundane tradition and check out some newer local businesses.
Now the best part about breweries is how casual, yet aesthetically pleasing, the environment is. This means whether you’re heading out on a first date, a group date, a Galentine’s date or trying something new on date one million, like Matt and I – the environment is kind of foolproof. It’s intimate but rambunctious, there are a prethala of conversation starters, and most breweries across New England offer everything from tours to tastings! So whether you’re looking for a pint of what’s on tap or some tasty bar snacks, scroll down to see breweries in New England you’ll want to check out, on your next date.
Before we jump into all the brewery details let’s chat about Matt & I’s puffer moment – shall we! The weather in New England during this time of year can be sporadic to put it nicely so light layers are essential. Before heading out to check out a few breweries this past weekend, we layered up with these matching puffers from Red Fleece. Matt wore a red puffer vest over a pink sweater in honor of the upcoming holiday while I put a casual spin on my go-to work slacks and white crepe blouse by adding this pink puffer jacket and turning in the heels for these wicked cute pink color-blocked white sneakers. Honestly, both Matt and I have a soft spot for pink in February and were so thankful for our jackets as the night went and the weather got a little nippy. Overall, puffer jackets are a spring staple in my closet and would make a splendid gift for that perfect someone in your life if you’re looking to exchange gifts on Valentine’s Day, just saying!
