I opened the door on Saturday and the air was warm and sticky, something about it made Matt & I feel like we were on a vacation, like in the Bahama’s headed out to the beach. 

So we piled into my car, put on my Spotify beach playlist and headed down to the Dallas Botanical Gardens. It was literally a perfect day, we strolled through fields of daffodils which Matt thought were tulips, he was so convinced that they were actually tulips. So convinced that I had to pull out my phone and google ‘what do daffodils look like’ for him (HAHA). 

Thankfully, I was right again, and we continued on our walk, making Matt carry my purse the whole way, as I snapped pictures of the blossoming flowers. Everything about it was perfect, especially because it’s February and it was 87 degrees. Unheard of. 

I’m currently typing this in 53-degree weather, so back to reality, but Matt & I welcomed the abnormal and record-breaking heatwave with open arms.

It made me feel really inspired, does warm weather do that to you guys too? I got an epic amount of TCC work done which made both Matt & I extra happy. 

Anyway, the warm weather gave me a chance to pull out last year’s dresses. & in the process, I automatically went for one dress, in particular, my favorite chambray dress. When it comes to springtime, I always love chambray, maybe it’s the neutral blue tone, but something about it screams tulips, daffodils, and greenery. 

And while it’s still freezing in New England, spring break is just around the corner, believe it or not. & NOW is a good time to get the idea of dresses, skirts, and spring into your mind. 

So I went home, after the gardens, and searched far and wide on google to find my favorite chambray pieces for you guys, ALL Under $100!
