Ciao Ciao (again) from Italy! 

Today I want to talk less about,“I went here & have done this so far”…because honestly being a tourist 24/7 can be tiring ( that sounds very much like a “1st world problem” but it’s true ).

Anyways today I want to talk about looking great & feeling great, while traveling. 

100% honest here. I see bloggers all the time traveling in Chanel dresses & walking the cobblestone streets of Florence in heels & all I have to say is…that has to be a joke.

Today I fell down while wearing riding boots ( like full on fell, straight down I went in the middle of the street ). While Italy maybe a “place for fashion” it sure is NOT a place to wear fashion. Between cobblestones & uneven sidewalks, I would be “face planting” my way home…

everyday. 

So now let’s talk about real fashion… like fashion you can travel with, because fake it till ya make it, will only let you make it so far. & in Italy…you won’t get far at all. 

So here is my guide to travel essentials for the women who want to look confident & stay on two feet. 

Okay ladies, first thing to do is invest in a jacket. You probably have already noticed this, if you follow my Instagram, but I have literally worn the above jacket everyday since being here in Tuscany.

While it’s not super cold outside, it is cold enough to require a jacket…so don’t “rough it” & just invest. 

Second recommendation (top secret & essential) but buy a pair of black jeans. Leggings are great but they don’t keep you that warm. So a pair of black jeans are perfect! They will match everything and anything & will keep you a heck of a lot warmer. My favorite black jeans found here (I love them so much). 

Okay so now you are at least warm. Now let’s get a little bit fashionable ( Europe in Style ).

For instant “glam” add a statement necklace to any collard shirt. You can find this statement necklace here, & at an affordable rate (perfect). Pop any statement necklace onto the simplest of shirts & you just made a stylish outfit. Boom Boom Pow. 

Easy & Effortless. 

Trust me, I am all about comfort when it comes to life & especially travel ( you don’t even want to know what I look like when I am about to board a plane. #rough ). So when it comes to traveling, don’t feel limited or shitty because you couldn’t bring your designer this & your top favorite 200 purses. 

Bring the comfy stuff & just add some glam. Anyways walking around in painful shoes, turns me into a nasty little germlin (hehe). So don’t set yourself up for pain. & do as I do. 

Pack Flannel, Flannel & maybe just a black shirt (when you want to look less “American”). 

So there you go, now you know my travel secrets ( shh. don’t share ).
