Greetings from Aruba!
Matt & I have finally landed in Aruba along with my entire family, and I could not be more excited. This is my first time in Aruba so I’m looking forward to a day of exploring, beach reading and snorkeling.
As always, I’d love your recommendations, so if you’ve ever been here please message me!
Anyway, before heading down to Aruba, to celebrate Easter with my family, Matt and I had a little of our own Easter celebration in Dallas. We went to this unique and charming bakery in Highland Park, Dallas. It’s called the Bird Bakery and it’s totally worth the trip.
I had heard about the delicious bakery before, but the fact that they put all their mini cupcakes in egg containers just screamed EASTER Brunch to me! I even ended up buying an extra half dozen to give to a friend, let’s just say Bird Bakery has the perfect treats for Easter.
To be honest, on Saturday I was starting to get stressed so we took a break from packing, and drove down to Highland Park Village got us some cupcakes and coffee, and had a little Easter brunch.
It was the perfect way to destress before taking off at 5:00 am the next day, ehh.
On a style note, Easter, dresses can be tricky, especially for New Englanders because who knows what the weather will bring in early April. So when I woke up to a chilly Dallas morning, I reached for a sleeved dress.
I had this Draper James sleeved dress, last seen here, on hand so I was able to still look the Easter part while not freezing off my arms.
Anways I’m keeping this post short, after all I am on vacation. I’ll keep you all updated as much as possible and look forward to more Easter looks coming soon :)! xx Aubrey
