I love exploring new towns in Connecticut. I’ll be honest my family calls me ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ because I absolutely love being driven around; I just sit in the passenger seat, pick the music and keep my eyes open for the next perfect TCC photo shoot location.
The other day my mother & I were driving around Middlebury to deliver TCC mugs and stumbled upon the cutest town green. So naturally we pulled over and grabbed the camera.
Even though I’m from New England, my style honestly isn’t that preppy. I seem to gravitate towards neutral clothing and baggier styles, California totally converted me towards a more bohemian style.
I’m kind of a melting pot of San Diego bohemian meets Connecticut prepster, style. I have a few very preppy items and of course I’m addicted to Vineyard Vines; however you’ll also find a large selection of Free People vintage oversized items in my closet.
What can I say, I’m a little bit of each style, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Because my style is a mixture of two very different lifestyle’s, I often find myself gravitating towards more neutral brands like Madewell. Their style is elegant and relevant on both the East & West Coast.
Anyways they just released their spring line & I have a few items I’m dying to splurge on. With the release of their spring line, came the sale price of their winter wear, so I was able to grab a few ex-boyfriend’s flannels at a discounted price.
Oh & I hope all you New Englanders are enjoying this crazy warm weather! I’m officially thankful for what might be the shortest winter ever. xx A.

Love how casual this outfit is and that pop of blue is just beautiful! I definitely enjoy experimenting with different styles – mixing up casual, chic, preppy, and edgey!

I must admit that my style is a mish-mash of different styles. It’s minimal, it’s relaxed and casual, but it’s also tailored. Does that make any sense at all? Oh well, i’ll keep refining it until I figure it out 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
