Living in New England means living in close proximity to uniquely quintessential beach towns. From the rocky coast of Maine to the weathered shingled homes lining the Cape – we are lucky to have so many beaches to explore. This past weekend my cousin and I spontaneously headed to the Cape which prompted a quick trip to Christmas Tree Shops andThat! to stock up on everyday beach essentials, ideal for keeping in the car all summer long.

I will admit, my beach totes often take a beating, so I do enjoy picking out a new one each season. This year I’m really hoping to make it to Martha’s Vineyard for the first time, along with visiting a few of my favorite local spots like Watch Hill, Niantic, Napatree, and Groton Long Point.
