Finally!
As many of you know, I go to school in California (far far away from my home) & while the East Coast continues to get jumbled with snow…California has officially claimed its summerhood (sorry, I know, I made that word up). But on 86 degree days like today, I like to take a moment and appreciate all that the Wild Wild West has bought into my life!
Many of you may not realize this but attitude, clothing & food is slightly different from East to West. I often find myself relating my life to Miley Cyrus’ song Party in the USA (since she moved to CA too). While Miley & I may not have a ton in common, there def is a shock effect that comes with moving across the country. So I am made a California Lifestyle 101 Crash Course, for any of you guys that want to venture on over here!
Here we go:
I know…I sold you. Hold on a second before you start packing your bags & booking your flight. California is probably one of the prettiest places in the world! If you ever have the chance to come out and experience the “Cali Lifestyle” do it. While it’s not my original home…I will always love California for expanding my horizons. Without California I wouldn’t have experienced any of these things & I would not currently be this tan (amen for summer year round).
On an Important Side Note: ALL of California’s malls are outside & beautiful. My favorite mall in the world is Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego; so if you come to Cali go there! Also Fashion Island is another most go for shopping lovers.
Stay Confident & Travel to California (come visit me, it will be fun)!

Thank you for sharing! You are having a nice life in San Diego, I remember my San Diego days very fondly. They were definitely some the happiest of my life. I am working on rekindling that magic. Your blog inspires me. Stay confident, and blogging. Nice picture of the seal.
Thanks perttulachrome!
I am glad you like it 🙂 & the seals are everywhere (especially this time of year)! I hope you make your way back to San Diego soon!
Aubrey!
Hi Aubrey:
Your very welcome! I have a free preview of my San Diego photo book: http://blur.by/14sDjEM
It shows the Gaslamp Quarter in the 1970’s. Pictures I took for my photo classes. Plus many of my best scenery pictures, they still look great in this age of Iphones and Instagrams. No rush. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Also I have 10 photo blogs I’m juggling, for overview of them, google image search: perttulachrome. Thanks again! I’ll be back to SD in a month or two. Cheers! perttulachrome.
