Highland Park is literally my favorite. From charming coffee shops to the character filled homes, if I could pick anywhere to live in Dallas, well I’m moving to Highland Park.

The reason why I really like Highland Park, is because it reminds me of New England. Just look at this brick East Coast styled home below. When I saw it, I made Matt pull over and hop out to snap a picture. highland park Dallas Texas

So for the rest of the day Matt & I strolled through Highland Park and just took in the view. I’m recently really into home decor & exterior home design, and I hope to share more of that on the blog. We spent the afternoon capturing the most exotic & charming home exteriors that you’ll see sprinkled through my instagram during the week.

After our walk we headed to SMU for some Starbucks and some much needed air conditioning. I know fall doesn’t arrive in Dallas till late November but I’m currently transitioning my closet to fall anyways, starting with this Chambray Shirt (size up!). This shirt is a great transition piece, it looks like fall but it’s light and easy for those remaining hot days.

& oh boy is it hot! Final note before I let you guys go, who is excited for the TCC Fall Mug!?!?!? It comes out in exactly 6 days (ahhhh). Let the countdown continue, xx A. new england decor
