After 9 hours in the car & a 10 hour country music playlist, I finally made it to Maine!
So what is there to do in Maine?
Honestly not a lot, I had no internet, no cellphone service, & the only place to stay in town was a Motel…but they had free wifi, so thank god!
However, if your a hiker, biker, or outdoor climber…Maine is the place for you! Between huge lakes & mountain trails if your more of a “be one with nature person” …than Maine would be your Nirvana!
Maine really is a cute place to go & enjoy nature. But if your a tech-savvy, internet loving, online shopping kind of person….don’t plan on moving to Maine.
WHAT I WORE:
DRESS// BLACK DOG. PURSE// HENRI BENDEL. FLIP FLOPS// RAINBOWS
I went all the way to the top of Maine, which borders Canada (you can even see Canada from Maine, it’s the strip of land behind me in the above pic)!
Upstate Maine is where my sister goes to summer camp & we made the drive to go visit her & my cousin who works there!
Basically if you have ever seen Breaking Bad & can remember how Walter lived in that isolated cabin in NH at the start of the final season…well that was basically my trip. The nearest Walmart was an hour away & the closest Starbucks was 2 hours away (ahhhh)!!!
While Maine is naturally stunning & has great pie & lobster…I think I’ll pass on upstate living!
