If you are a true New England girl then it’s important to invest in one good Lilly Dress a season. I was visiting Hope & Stetson boutique and spotted this little gem (ahh).

Now sometimes Lilly is too much for me, you know I’m a grey, black, and nude kind of gal. So when Lilly goes full out preppy, I just don’t relate but this Lilly dress isn’t crazy preppy but rather pretty darn sophisticated.

I think that is how all summer dresses should be…sophisticated.

I think what really attracted me to this lace shift dress is all the detail on the lace top. Sometimes I feel like lace looks, well…old, but this lace is vibrant, young and sexy. 

Also as many of you could guess, I love wearing blue especially with my brown hair. So to sum it all up, this dress is probably my favorite thing ever. 

 I’m sooooooooo excited for summer, can it get here like right now!
