What I Wore:
Shirt || here. Sweater ( found at Polo Factory Store! )|| here. Luggage || here. Leggings || here. Boots || here.
Traveling and style, ( for me at least ) don’t go together. Personally I find nothing glamorous about sitting on a plane inches away from a total stranger who snores.
When I have to sit on a plane for six hours (ughh), comfort is a priority and honestly who are you trying to impress? Everyone on the plane is usually grumpy or jamming out to their own tunes.
So when I travel I try to stay comfortable, warm, & I usually end up wearing some of my heavier weighing items (to save some room in my luggage, lol). At the end of the process, I usually kind of look like a little kid that decided to dress themselves for the first time.
As humiliating as that is, I decided to make a New Years resolution & work on channeling some Kate Middleton to actually look good on a plane.
So I did just that while traveling back to school; thank god for Kate Middleton setting the standards for all of us.
“My Travel Confidence & Style is a mix match of classic Ralph Lauren & Sporty Leggings.”
Honestly, comfort is important, it is & you can’t deny that. So here is my suggestion ladies, from your waist up “put yourself together” & from your “waist down” go comfy. This way you’re not suffering from jeans cutting off your circulation for the duration of your flight (rough).
Basically this is my main travel trick & it works! While sitting you’ll still look put together, you’ll be deceiving all the fashionistas out there.
To pull this off I went with a J.Crew T-shirt (now on sale! get it & love it) & a Ralph Lauren timeless sweater jacket. For me this is my perfect travel style. It allows me to look good & feel good. & nothing is better than that.
So travel in confidence & look the part!

I can’t believe I’ve never thought about being ‘put together’ from the waist up before!! It makes so much sense!
