Red Fleece Jacket || Polo || Pants || Bike || Shoes (old similar listed)
I feel slightly like a hypocrite talking about spring as I’m pretty sure New England is locking down for a huge nor‘easter come Tuesday, but the first day of spring is less than one week away! Isn’t that insane!
So today I’m talking about a New England closet staple every girl needs for spring, the yellow rain jacket! Now my jacket technically isn’t a rain jacket but rather a ‘water resistant’ jacket, but same difference right.
I’ll be honest, I was slightly hesitant when I first thought about adding a yellow jacket to my wardrobe. I wasn’t sure if I’d wear it all that much and secondly, I was like ‘how many water resistant jackets do you need, Aubrey’ (I currently have three).
However, after owning this jacket for just about two weeks, I’d say I’ve worn my jacket almost every day. That’s kind of sad to admit, but It’s just the perfect jacket to throw on and run out the door. Also, who doesn’t love a pop of yellow for spring!
Anyway, I kind of have a confession for you all. Over the last week, I’ve been totally turned off from Instagram; obviously, I’ll still be posting there but something about it all, seems just a little too much for me.
I kind of have the urge to follow like zero people and just go off the map, but I know with my career, it’s just not possible/would kind of be rude of me.
So instead of spending my free time on Instagram, I’ve been spending my time on Twitter. I kind of like that we can talk back and forth, along with the fact that it’s just a more intimate group over there.
I feel like the ride or die TCC fans are connecting with me on Twitter, which I love! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the matter, is anyone else over Instagram or is it just me?
Finally, I literally have nothing to report about the weekend. Matt & I kind of just hung out. On Saturday we both worked, so I edited all my images for the week; while he was off at the office.
So a mellow weekend to say the least, but we are counting down the days till this Saturday because Matt, Andrew (my brother) and I are going to Six Flags!
I hate rides but love amusement parks (wierd?)! So I’m excited for a Fried Dough, Cotton Candy, Dippin Dots filled Saturday. I’m sure I’ll be sharing my adventures (aka me eating my way through the park) on snapchat (aubreyrose740) so I’ll see you there. xx Aubrey

I’ve always wanted a pair of yellow rain boots, and this post is really inspiring me to just take the plunge and buy them. Also, I totally agree with your feelings on Instagram it’s a lot of the same old same old and can get quite boring. Twitter is definitely a good alternative because as you said it makes me feel much more connected to the world around me.
