Today I woke up to 19 degree weather & nothing about that is okay with me. I’m a big ‘doer‘ & what I mean by that is… I love going out and doing things. Whether it’s just getting out of the house for a walk or driving to a new ]ocation to shoot photos, ‘doing’ things just makes me happy. So with the winter weather rolling in, I’m determined to continue exploring instead of staying in & loafing around.
When I woke up on Monday it was a warm 40 degrees and rainy, so I grabbed my rain boots & my mom and we went out for a coffee and a walk. We ended up driving all the way to the Wethersfield Cove. It’s actually one of my favorite places to take pictures because New England coves have this rustic beauty about them. If you’ve ever been there, than you know what I’m talking about! The cove is a little muddy, there is drift wood everywhere and it’s literally right next to the highway but somehow all the little imperfections make this place rustically beautiful.
However to enjoy New England’s beauty you must take on the New England weather (ahhh), so we shoot these photos on a very cold & rainy day but they turned out really well (or so I think). I hope you all enjoy the rustic beauty everyday brings! xx A.

This is such a nicel look. This is a true cape, not a blanket scarf which some confuse. This piece is really lix looking. The roll collar, thick fabric and over-sized volume. What a great piece to have. Jealous!
