On Friday Matt & I decided to go on a road trip down to Salmon River in Connecticut, for an easy river side hike. I must say it was a lot colder than I expected and a lot colder than it looks in these pictures. However, the cold can be such an easy excuse to stay inside and watch Netflix all day, so it’s really important for me to ignore that intuition and get out of the house and just see what’s happening in the world. 

So we headed down to this quiet little river, in our matching vests of course, and had a great time taking in the slightly iced water. Matt & I have been obsessed with vests this month, we both got ours around Christmas time and haven’t taken them off. Whether I’m at home, running errands or going out for a workout; I’m constantly in my Patagonia vest & it’s currently on sale ! Matt just got his from Eddie Bauer and is beyond in love, he literally won’t take it off, but I don’t blame him at all. Vests are a great way to stay warm and accessories a look. 

Also you’ll noticed I’ve been wearing my new athleisure New Balance sneakers everywhere! They are so warm, give great support & did I mention…they look fabulous. I will literally be wearing them everywhere this month, so look forward to a lot of athleisure posts coming your way. xx A.
