TGIF! That basically sums up today! For some reason this week was a KILLER! 

I’m a big believer in work smarter not harder and this week was bogged down with a lot of mundane but time-consuming tasks, yuck. I love being efficient and whenever I’m not it drives me NUTS! & this week I just feel like I didn’t tackle as much as I could have, like don’t get me wrong I was busy BUT I probably could have spent less time on editing photos and more time on planning April’s content.

Planning content is by far my favorite to-do task and I just kept putting it off this week in order to complete my “behind the scenes” tasks (emails, phone calls, photo edits, and social media promotions). All essential, all mundane and all can wait.

So today I scheduled only one thing for the day: PLAN CONTENT (and go to Starbucks to get my Friday Trenta Black Tea Lemonade! :)) 

If you live in New England then you understand how hard it is to turn down a dress with a good print. So when I saw this seagull dress on Persifor I had to showcase it! 

I’ve worn this dress twice so far, and I’m going to say YOU NEED THIS! I love wearing dresses during the summer, mainly because I HATE BEING HOT! I would take cold over heat

I love wearing dresses during the summer, mainly because I HATE BEING HOT! I would take cold over heat any day, so when that New England humidity rolls in, I move my pants/shorts to the top of my attic, and convert my wardrobe to skirts and dresses only. 

So the other day in Dallas I was wearing this dress at Six Flags, in 92-degree heat believe it or not, and let me tell you, it saved me! It was soo light, breathable and fluid that I felt like I was barely wearing anything, scandalous.

Besides being beyond functional, it’s also as cute as it gets. Do you guys agree! 

Let’s just imagine wearing this dress, while biking down a stone covered Nantucket road, ugh so cute. It just screams New England summer, 

Anyway Matt & I are off to explore Dallas today. We are both taking a half day, getting those to-dos done and then spending some time exploring the best of the big D! Leave any suggestions you might have below 🙂 xx Aubrey
