Finally, 

My family, Matt & I have officially arrived at Long Beach Island @ The Jersey Shore! When I say NJ Shore I don’t mean “Gym, Tan, Laundry” but more like Jake Owen Beachin’!

ohh, the beach….

I am totally the girl that prefers to lye in the sun & read while jamming out to Taylor Swift, all day long!

I take a more passive attitude when at the beach & use the time for some RR instead of insane boogie boarding & football. 

I also have a love hate relationship with the sun! I love the feeling of just lying in the sun, I am kind of like a cat in that way, but I HATE getting burnt & I end up drenching myself in sunscreen ( & downside…I hate the way sunscreen smells). 

Ya, I am deff more of a pool gal but nothing beats the atmosphere on the beach. Teenage boys are on the hunt for gals, little kids are practicing their boogie boarding skills & the ice cream truck is always around the corner! 

& it’s just pretty. 

I just love the beach because everyone has a “whatever”attitude! It’s a great environment to just relax, be goofy & zone out! 

I arrive at the beach all natural! I pull my hair in a tight pony, put on my sunglasses & throw on a Vineyard Vine hat. Easy & Breezy! 

Now let’s talk about what happens after the beach…

DINNER, & that means time to pull yourself together! 

After spending the whole day on the beach I opt for an outfit that can show off my tan (hopefully by then I have one) & make sure the outfit will work later into the night (I have to stay warm)! 

What I wore:

The White Knit top allows me to show off my tan & by pairing it with my jean top, I am able to stay warm throughout the nighttime activities!

I dressed it up with some jewelry, thus making the outfit perf for dinner out & for the pier after! 

So far I have been loviiiing the weekend at The Jersey Shore & have a lot more summer attire ideas to share with ya.
