Here is another beach attire post by yours truly!

okay so I am officially back in CT after my weekend/week in Jersey & I made sure to document all my outfit ideas & choices.

Everyone loves going to the beach…but packing for the beach is another story. I HATE packing, & packing for the beach isn’t always easy.

I always bring the obvious essentials (swimsuits, towels, coverups, etc.) but you honestly never know what the weather is going to do.

Mark Twain once said, “If you don’t like the weather in New England now, just wait a few minutes.”

Well…that quote is basically my life! Obviously the temperatures ranged from 58-88 over my stay at the beach.

I felt like I was in the Katy Perry song Hot N Cold, the whole vacation! The weather was showing some serious bipolar attitude.

So when traveling in New England make sure to pack outfits for the heat & the thousands of other temperatures New England might throw at ya!

The outfit below is a key example of how to bring an outfit from extremely humid days into the windy terrain!imagetwoo

What I wore:

Top// Lilly Pulitzer. shorts// j.crew. cardigan// b.p Nordstrom. shoes// rainbow.

Naturally this outfit is light & perfect for humid nights, but obviously being by the beach the nights get chilly (really really chilly), so this cardigan helps to make this outfit more usable.beachview

Okay so honestly...am I the only one out there that suffers from extreme outfit changes? It is something I am seriously trying to work on! With temperatures all over the board, I sometimes end up changing 2-3 times a day (ughh!).

Any advice on key pieces to make the day-to-night transition easier?
