Dockside is literally my favorite place to be.

I save my swimming for pools, beaches and wave pools; but I save my weekends for the docks. I love seeing water, does that make sense? Thus The ‘Coastal’ Confidence, I even went from Atlantic (Connecticut) to Pacific (San Diego) yet somehow I was always driving distance to a coast.

Now Texas doesn’t have a coast, but they have some killer lakes! So on the weekends Matt & I wake up early, get into the car, grab coffees and walk around the lakes.

I’m a big fan of walking, so I love our little weekend morning ritual.

On Saturday I brought my camera along, for us to shoot some pictures and was blessed with sailboats making an appearance. I love capturing sailboats

I love capturing sailboats they remind me of Jackie O & iconic New England summers. So whenever I see a sailboat you bet I grab my camera. & I feel like it fits in perfectly with the ‘coastal’ part of my brand.

Anyway, recently I’ve been loving the mule trend! They are so easy to walk in compared to flats, & if you are in the market, I’d check out this pair!

Okay, is anyone else struggling with this winter/spring weather? It’s currently 64 in Dallas, which is slightly too cold for just a shirt but too warm for a wool jacket.

So recently I’ve been living in wraps. They are simple, keep you warm, while being lightweight, and come in literally a million colors.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of cardigans, they always fall oddly on me, so I have my closet stacked with wraps; oh & they make good blankets if needed.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. Matt & I kept it pretty mellow, we really didn’t do much. We have a few exciting plans coming up, including not limited to a possible trip to Houston, Matt’s 23rd Birthday, my family coming to visit & a few exciting posts featuring Mr. Matt.
