A tradition of mine is visiting different local farmstands each year. Fletcher Farm in Southampton, Massachusetts has been on my list of places to visit since they opened their newly renovated farmstand! So, since it’s the season for decking the halls, it was the perfect opportunity for my Mom and I to take an hour-long drive up to Fletcher Farm and grab some Christmas cheer. We of course had to stock up on wreaths, garland and some fa-la-la-holiday decor too!

Fletcher Farm is a multi-generational family dairy farm. The heritage beam farmstand offers local unique gifts, home décor, locally made ornaments, a case stocked with local dairy products, and other goodies. As a way to support my local farmers – I snagged some goodies as stocking stuffers!

Whenever I have the opportunity to visit a New England dairy farm I really enjoy getting to meet the farmers and hear more about their lifestyle. While each farm is unique, one thing many have in common is their love for their heritage and devotion to their dairy cows.

Nicole Fletcher allowed me to get up-close and personal with the lovely cows on the farm, as she spilled each lady’s unique personality trait and backstory. I learned the milk collected on the farm goes into making Cabot Cheese products – break out the holiday charcuterie boards!

Now more than ever is a great time to support local farms. Whether you’re looking for holiday event & gift ideas,  local farms to purchase Christmas Trees from, or farms with delicious eggnog and holiday treats – New England dairy farmers have you covered.

Do you have a local farm you like to visit or show support to?

Local farms always have such fun seasonal activities this time of year. In fact, I heard Santa visited Fletcher Farm this past weekend! So whether you hunting for a Christmas Tree or looking to snap some unique locally made gifts – try popping into a farmstand near you!

  1. I happen to live a few minutes away from Fletcher Farm. They are the best and such a friendly place to visit. This time of the year is a fun time to visit as the farm store is just filled with Xmas treasures
