One of my favorite places in Connecticut is Yale University. The campus is historic, iconic and of course beyond beautiful. Matt & I headed down to New Haven last Saturday to watch the event The Shops at Yale put on.

The Shops at Yale put on a model search & fashion show completely open to the public. The minute the show started though, it started down pouring, but as my dad says ‘rain makes memories’. Matt & I had so much fun dodging the down pour and buying a few cute dresses at J.Crew, like this one.

When I think Ivy League style, my brain automatically goes to a classic blue and white look. Nothing screams Yale like white & navy.

So when Matt & I decided to go to Yale, I had to dress in the school’s colors! I was also kind of having a Gilmore Girl fan moment, as I totally felt like Rory for a tiny moment as I walked the halls of Yale.

Overall it was such a fun day, even with the rain. If you haven’t been to Yale yet, I would totally recommend it. Tell me which Ivy League school is your favorite below xx A.
