[outfit_details] When Vineyard Vine’s announced that they’re the official style of The 2017 Kentucky Derby, I just about passed out! Anyone else on the same page?! 

Matt & I have always dreamed of going to the Kentucky Derby, him for the betting and me for the clothes! 

The Kentucky Derby is really 99.9% about the hats, so when I saw that VV also had hats, well I spent a good hour browsing the new collection. & while I currently don’t have plans to go to the Derby, aka I had no excuse to buy a hat, I did have an excuse to snag this dress. 

Enter my trip to Aruba!

I figured this dress would make the perfect Easter Dress, so I packed it with that in mind, but to be honest, I’ve already worn it twice.

I tried it on the first day I arrived here in Aruba and it is by far one of the comfiest dresses I own.

I collect shift dresses, I currently have about twenty different ones in my closet (oops), but I just love the style on me. I specifically loved the unique neckline on this shift dress; making it comfortable, a little more formal, and the perfect instant outfit.

So I ended up adding it to the collection, haha.

Matt & I are having the best time in Aruba. I’m slightly tanned, he’s slightly burnt and the water is amazing; so no complaints here. I’ve also taken time this vacation to really dig into my reading to-do list.

I’m 100% bringing a beach reading list to you all ASAP. 

Okay, quick update, a lot of you have asked for more Aruba images and I’ve shared some images over on Instagram, however, I’m hoping to post more when I get home.

The wifi is not so great here, sooooo a few posts have been delayed, but I promise to share all the details when I get back; including a travel guide.
