Okay guys! Welcome back to another Serendipity post (woot woot). I try to get these posts in bi-weekly on the TCC, because it’s important to take a pause & just catch up with you guys.

So I have some BIG NEWS to share with you guys. I was going to wait a few more weeks before spilling the beans butttttttt, it just doesn’t feel real until I share it with all of you.

So basically, Matt & I are moving to…

Drumroll….

DALLAS! I bet you didn’t see that one coming, because neither did we!!!!

Basically, the reason for the big move is Matt’s new job (Go Matt)! We knew that after doing four years of long distance in college, that we wanted to spend the next few years close to each other, because honestly long distance is a BORE.

We assumed Matt would be in Boston because well you guys know how much we LOVE Boston. But you all know the great game of life & I guess destiny just keeps placing me all over the USA.

I’ll be honest, I was totally negative about the idea of moving. I went though several stages over a course of one weekend. I’ll break it down:

1) Denial: I literally thought Matt was pulling a HUGE prank on me.

2) Anger: Whenever I’m frustrated, I get angry, & trust me this is something I’m working on. I was so angry, like hello I didn’t want to leave New England!!

Stage three was my turning point:

3) PLAN: I called my college friend Jennifer up, & we spent about two hours on the phone, talking about potential game plans for my life & of course the TCC.

& finally the fourth stage hit…

4) EXCITEMENT!

I’ve already lived far away from New England and that was actually what inspired me to start the TCC! So I’m excited to explore Dallas and share a whole new lifestyle with you guys, & I’m REALLY EXCITED TO DECORATE OUR APARTMENT!

Now Matt & I have A LOT to still plan/figure/freak out about. BUT for now all I know is that come late August, I’ll be driving to Dallas with my family…who wants to come? Oh & make sure to follow along on snapchat (aubreyrose740), because my life just got really interesting!!

So now that you are slightly in the loop get ready for a crazy ride! I’m excited to bring you all along & if you’re a New Englander, DON’T WORRY! I’m planning on coming back to CT monthly to capture New England’s lifestyle and showcase those New England roots.

All I have to say for now is, YEE HA! Just kidding don’t expect me to go all y’alls on you guys. xx A. lighthouse
