My sister, mom and I decided to take a spontaneous road trip to a town we’ve all been dying to explore – Stonington, Connecticut.
Stonington has been on my radar for a while because you all know I love exploring the nooks and crannies of New England. We decided to set out for an infamous restaurant called Noah’s in historic downtown Stonington Borough. As soon as we parked the car and started walking, the area fit my idea of an idyllic New England coastal town.
Noah’s restaurant offered a large variety of options! I went with an Asain noodle bowl, which was amazing and just enough to fill me up. If you’re ever in the area mid-week, I noticed Noah’s has a Wednesday evening lobster special!
As I walked on the historic brick streets of Stonington, I couldn’t help but feel giddy as we passed well-manicured lawns and perfectly preserved homes. My yellow maxi dress from Dolan caught the wind and cascaded behind me as we admired the town.
All and all it was the perfect day in Stonington. The town reminded me a lot of Essex. which is one of my favorite coastal destinations.
