This video is a right of passage for anyone with a new fridge – am I right?!
Whether you’re like Matt and I going through a home renovation or simply updating an appliance – when a new piece gets delivered or installed you can’t help but feel pure joy. When my new refrigerator arrived, I couldn’t help but run to the supermarket and stock up on all of our favorite foods. Now, every time I open our GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator I feel like home.
I had the pleasure of working with GE Appliances on my kitchen renovation. After my experience, I highly recommend them! GE Appliances offer gadgets for everyone’s style. From side-by-side refrigerators to bottom freezer refrigerators their options are endless. For our home, I wanted a french door refrigerator. I’m a big fan of Trader Joe’s frozen meals and since our nearest Trader Joe’s is a hike I knew I needed a freezer big enough to hold everything from my monthly pilgrimages.
I’m so happy with the refrigerator we decided on! The counter-depth design offers a built-in look and although it came in several colors – we went with the stunning color called slate. I cannot say enough great things about this refrigerator! Even our videographer Evan commented on how striking the LED lighting is when you open the big french doors.
Take a look for yourself – here’s a peek inside:
On the top shelf, you’ll find goods we eat on a daily basis and replenish weekly. You’ll usually find a few dozen eggs and produce from our local farmstand. Matt and I buy what’s in season including blueberries, cherries, lettuce and more!
Finally, you’ll see a container filled to the brim with yogurt. Matt and I love grabbing a yogurt for a snack on the go. I like to add granola while Matt loads his up with chocolate chips.
I heard you are supposed to display beverages at eye level, so our second shelf is stacked with mostly drinks! We keep seltzer water and gingerade kombucha onhand. Usually, you’ll also find a seasonal drink. This time of year – we’re all about the Fisher Island Lemonades.
On the second shelf, you’ll also find our fruit bowl and sauce box. I like to use BINO brand containers from HomeGoods to organize similar items. The containers make the fridge look stocked even if it isn’t. Currently, my sauce box is filled with duck sauce, soy sauce, pasta sauce, and minced garlic.
I like to call our third shelf the lunch shelf! It’s where we keep all of our sandwich products and healthy snacks. We broke this section into two containers: one for all bread products (I keep extra lofts in the freezer) and the other is for precut veggies with hummus and salsa for snacking!
One of the reasons I decided to go with GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator is because of the gorgeous space they designed for vegetables and fruit. The glass is crystal clear which makes it easy to see what’s in stock. It also helps me to make sure no food goes to waste. I like a bargain! S0, I tend to purchase produce that’s on sale. This week’s picks were corn and grapefruit. As for my must-haves – lemons, limes, and ginger are always stocked in my fridge.
It’s important to keep your meats at the bottom of the fridge just in case anything leaks. So, I love that GE Appliances designed a full-width, electronic temperature-controlled drawer with LED lights at the bottom of the fridge just for your meats! Matt and I like to keep three to four days worth of meat and our deli meats in this drawer.
The Freezer
I’m a fan of bottom freezers because they’re so much easier to organize!
With lots of frozen meals on hand, it’s important to keep the freezer organized so we know what we have to minimize waste. Our GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator features extra ice options with an optional second icemaker in the freezer, So, if you’re like me and enjoy hosting – you’ll love this feature!

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to partner with GE Appliances on our kitchen remodel. As for Matt, he loves the hands-free water dispenser option most. The dispenser automatically fills any container with filtered water – making it Matt’s go-to party trick!
I hope you enjoyed this video and I can’t wait to be back again soon with more house content!

There’s a fridge I would buy, it says one in stock then when I go to check out it says no longer available. When you go back to the search it still shows up they have one.
Off the topic but I love your dress!
