I know it technically isn’t fall yet, but zero cares given! I’m in full fall mode, even though it was 99 degrees on Sunday (eww). So to compensate for San Diego’s lack of fall my roommates & I are officially kicking off our fall activities. So what better way to start then with me sharing my killer apple crisp recipe with you all! You can all thank me later & drool over these pictures ;)! PS: my roommates & I finished the whole pan in two days…#squadgoals!
Apple Crisp Recipe
5 green apples (about 10 cups)
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup melted butter
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Place sliced apples in a 9X13 inch pan. Mix the white sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and cinnamon together and sprinkle over apples.
3. Mix together oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder & soda, and finally place in the melted butter. Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 mins!
