Yup, that is right!
I have officially moved into my 1st apartment { ekk } along with 2 glamours roommates & the cutest little cat.
Umm…so moving in was def high stress with about 1,000 & one trips to Target.
Yet in the end I am beyond pleased with my little flat! & I am so ready to show off my room; which is a “head to toe” mix of Anthropologie, Target & Ikea!
So here it is….
welcome to the “babe cave” {!!!}
I ended up mixing up my apartment space with a lot of neutral & natural colors...think brown, gold, silver, black & tan.
& of course I bought my fav fav fav Anthropologie bed quilt { found here } to remind me of home! So shocker…you will, for sure, see a ton of grey in my room. From grey rocks to actual stones…I absolutely love the little accents.
Honestly I am a believer that the little accents bring your personality into the room. Whether it’s a rough saying or a chic picture…bringing whatever personality you have into the room is key.
Cause if it doesn’t look, feel & act as unique as you…than the room just isn’t yours.
& since I am overly enthusiastic about neutrals & in love with a simplistic & chic feel…I made sure my room was “reppin” exactly that!& how perfect is that NYC painting???
I know & guess where I found it /// { click here to find out }
When I saw it, we instantly connected & I made my dad hang it directly across from my bed.
& while I wasn’t able to find the exact painting for sale online…I did find it in the store (so keep those eyes open for great in store finds).
& of course one of the most important places in my room is….my desk.
After-all I am a “college student”.
So I found this great desk at CB2 & if you haven’t been to their site check it out~~ { here } it’s like a combo of West Elm & Crate and Barrel. { aka :: perfection }
& it’s totally meant for decking out a pad inhabited by “twenty-something-olds.”
Later this week, look forward to some desk organization & personalization posts.
I hope you love my room as much as I do!!!
xx.
