I know I know, this post is a little late considering 4th of July has already passed.

Yet, I just feel like all of summer is one patriotic festivity! Between fireworks, country concerts, picnics & American Holidays; I think it’s perfectly fine to red, white, & blue the summer away. 

So what’s the 1st step in Americanizing your home?

Well for me it’s deff the PATIO! Nothing is more American than outside summer night festivites & everyone needs a place to sit, so ya might as well make it patriotic! 

Also July is a bomb time for sales ( cough, Nordstrom Sale, cough) so it’s the perfect time to splurge on decor! My mother, sister & I headed out to Pottery Barn & added some American touches to the back of our house! 

We naturally have red couches so by adding some decorative pillows, our patio went from summer to Star-Spangled Banner!
