Hey Guys,
So if those images didn’t make you want to eat salad, I don’t know what will. Full disclosure here, I honestly don’t think this salad is that healthy but hey, it’s summer (so no cares given)! The images above are in chronological order, and will showcase how to put together this little slice of heaven. Whenever I get home from college, this is the number one summer dish I am dying to eat up. So here is what you need to make a not so healthy perfect summer salad:
2 bags of pre-packed spinach
1 red onion
2 green apples chopped up
1 bag of sliced almonds
(make sure to toast them over the stove to get them nice & crunchy)
1 bag of cheddar cheese (feta cheese also works)
A few slices of cooked bacon
THAT’S IT!
How easy was that. At school I always top this salad off with some white balsamic or citrus balsamic dressing. Just a little dressing goes a long way with this salad.
